Villa Loufia is a fully restored, beautiful stone build construction, that is dated back to 1885. It is located in the picturesque village of Skouloufia, just 20km from Rethymno town. The whole villa is 270sqm and can host up to 12 persons.
On the ground floor, there is a living area with a fireplace and a TV set. Three steps lead, through a stone beautiful arch, to a fully equipped open-plan kitchen area. There is a large dining table, and all modern appliances for cooking. Next to the kitchen, there is a toilet and a utility room with a washing machine. Furthermore, on the ground floor there are three bedrooms; two of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds and all with en suite bathrooms. On the upper floor, there are three more bedrooms ; two of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds, and all with en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are individually air-conditioned and offer smart tv's.
From the kitchen, there is access to the veranda, equipped with patio furniture, a large stone-built sofa, and a built-in BBQ with a traditional oven. In front of the villa, there is a paved patio area with a private swimming pool that also includes a children's pool, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Skouloufia village has two traditional tavernas, a traditional kafenion, and a mini-market. The nearest supermarket, as well as the sandy beach of Stavromenos, is about 8 km away.
